Professional experience

Kathleen is a partner at BCVLex and a member of the Bordeaux Bar since 2019.

She practices in private international law, civil liability, air law, commercial law and real estate law.

Kathleen defends her clients in out-of-court or contentious proceedings before French and international courts.

She also acts as an expert in French law before foreign courts, having drafted numerous legal reports on issues such as damage assessment, liability, period limitation and personal and family law.

Academic activity

Kathleen is a regular speaker at congresses and seminars organized by, among others, the Madrid Bar Association, LEGAL ABROAD, PEOPIL, AAJ, APIL, and the Law Society of Ireland.

Formation

Kathleen holds a Master’s degree in Criminal Law (2015) and a Master’s degree in Judicial Litigation from the University of Bordeaux (2016).

Kathleen graduated from the CAPA (Certificate of Aptitude for the Legal Profession, from the Bordeaux School of Lawyers) in 2019.

She has also completed educational programs and training in personal injury, in France and internationally, on product liability, aviation law, maritime law, conflicts of laws and jurisdictions or road accidents.
